Installer Texel

As an installer, you will be part of a national team of approximately 800 installers, divided into various customer teams averaging 20 colleagues. Although you work much independently, you have regular contact with your teammates to exchange knowledge and experiences. Every month you come together during work meetings, and in addition, team activities and social drinks are regularly organized. For this position, we are looking for an installer who will be responsible for the service area on Texel.

Watching television, surfing the internet, streaming, or calling: a stable connection is essential for everyone. As an Installer at KPN, you are the link that makes this possible for customers on Texel. You work at private and (small) business customer locations, where you install new services, resolve faults, and provide advice on the best solutions. Your activities take place both indoors and outdoors. This means you work not only in homes and commercial buildings, but also at facades, in gardens, and at street cabinets to realize connections or resolve faults.

• Explaining to customers what you have come to do and how you are going to do it;
• Selling possible extra or new products;
• Connecting KPN equipment and/or resolving faults on existing equipment;
• Installing and terminating fiber optics from the garden to the meter cupboard, including indoor and outdoor work and connections in the KPN exchange.

With the knowledge you acquire during the KPN training and your independent working attitude, you ensure that every customer receives the best possible service. You think in solutions, communicate clearly, and go that extra mile to leave customers with a good feeling and a reliable connection.

• A gross monthly salary of at least € 2,933 and a maximum of € 4,053 depending on your work experience, 
  based on 40 hours
