The role

Air Liquide is a world leader in gases, technologies, and services for industry and healthcare. Globally, Air Liquide is present in more than 60 countries with approximately 66,500 employees. In the Netherlands, Air Liquide has a strong position and serves thousands of industrial customers and patients with about 400 employees. As one of the largest players in the region, Air Liquide Industrie B.V. is crucial for the supply of gases.

At Air Liquide, we work on the challenges of today and tomorrow. We are looking for driven professionals who want to contribute to this mission and want to play a role in shaping a better, more sustainable world.

This position is located at the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam, at a unique location just 50 meters from the beach as the crow flies. This is a crucial hub in the energy transition. Here, we produce green hydrogen on a large scale via electrolysis, powered by wind energy from offshore wind farms. The future of this Elygator project is firmly anchored: Air Liquide has signed a long-term contract with a strategic customer for the structural supply of this green hydrogen. Through our extensive pipeline network, the hydrogen is then distributed throughout the Benelux and Northern France to make industry and heavy mobility more sustainable. At this moment, the project is still very much under construction. Do you want to experience and shape the realization and the startup of this unique plant from the ground up? Then this is the moment to apply!

What you'll do

As an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Specialist, you are responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all E&I installations. With your expertise, you ensure the continuity of our hydrogen production and contribute directly to Air Liquide's energy transition. In this role, you will work closely with the operational team and external contractors.
Through your expertise and proactive approach, you contribute directly to the reliability of our systems and to Air Liquide's mission to play an important role in the energy transition.

  • Maintenance & Inspection: Planning, executing, and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance, including calibration of instruments and inspection of sensors, control valves, and alarm systems.
