description

ROLE SUMMARY Planner for the Equipment Management Department € 3,700 - € 5,000 gross per month (depending on experience) Location Schiedam As a Planner at Mammoet, you are responsible for the efficient scheduling of technicians for the maintenance of all Mammoet equipment. The Equipment Management Department in Schiedam is the workshop for all local and international equipment that moves from project to project. This includes cranes, trailers, trucks, and other special equipment. When this needs to come to the workshop for maintenance, you schedule this together with your colleagues and ensure that the technician with the right knowledge and skills takes this on. This maintenance can be a regular maintenance service, but can also be a sudden breakdown or a special project lasting several months, involving a complete overhaul of the equipment. The technicians perform this in the workshop in Schiedam, but also on projects worldwide. To achieve this, you work closely with colleagues in the department and are the first point of contact for technicians, suppliers, and colleagues from other departments. Examples include transport, mobility, and project management, but also with drivers, machine operators, and operators, with the goal of efficient technician and workshop planning. WHAT YOU WILL DO Creating an efficient and detailed personnel and maintenance schedule. The schedule consists of both planned regular maintenance as well as ad-hoc maintenance in the workshop in Schiedam or at customer or project locations. Supporting the workshop in Westdorpe (Zeeland) by planning maintenance activities and scheduling technicians. Coordinating the availability of our employees and ensuring that they can work on the equipment in a timely manner and with the correct preparation. Processing various administrative data in an automated system. Monitoring the progress of ongoing projects and adjusting the schedule if necessary. Maintaining relevant data and reports regarding staffing (including future interim evaluations and assessments). Ensuring that personnel are trained with the correct, valid certificates. Because the technicians also work internationally, you are also involved in requesting visas, flights, hotels, etc. After a thorough induction period, you will shadow the on-call service. WHAT YOU NEED A minimum of MBO 4 working and thinking level, with an affinity for technology and maintenance. You understand the impact of maintenance and downtime of equipment on the company. You get energy from close cooperation with other planners and colleagues. You are self-assured, decisive, and draw energy from a constantly changing environment. You are flexible in your working hours (periodic availability outside of office hours is a fixed requirement within this role). Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written. Good technical insight, you are analytical and can work independently, being able to set priorities well in your work. You can think of out-of-the-box solutions and have a helicopter view of the activities during ad-hoc changes in the schedule. You conduct interim performance reviews and also engage in conversations with technicians in cases of, for example, frequent absenteeism or personal circumstances. Knowledge and experience with Excel and/or SAP is a plus. WHAT YOU GET A good basic salary between € 3,700 - € 5,200 gross per month (depending on your knowledge and experience). Opportunity to discover new cultures and build international contacts. The possibility to visit national and international project locations. A challenging position in a dynamic and international organization. Opportunities to develop yourself, for example with courses at our Mammoet Academy. A hardworking and sociable team. More than 25 vacation days per year. A good package of primary and secondary employment conditions. WANT TO KNOW MORE?
