Service Technician Straddle Carriers | APM Terminals Maasvlakte II

We require:

• A completed MBO education in Electrotechnics, Mechatronics, or similar.
• Experience with or affinity for industrial equipment, port equipment, or heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of electrical diagrams, sensors, drives, and control technology.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems is a plus.
• No fear of heights and a willingness to work outdoors.
• Good command of the Dutch language and a driving license (category B).

• Additionally, you are willing to work in shift patterns and/or on-call services when the operation requires it.

Employment conditions:

• Salary between € 3,200 and € 4,900 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience.
• Employment conditions according to the CAO Metaal & Techniek.

What will you do?

As a Service Technician Straddle Carriers, you are responsible for the maintenance and technical availability of the machines on-site at APM Terminals Maasvlakte II. The emphasis lies on electrotechnics, control technology, and fault analysis.

Your duties:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on Straddle Carriers.
• Locating and resolving faults in electrical systems, drives, and controls.
• Performing inspections, testing, and functional checks.
• Assisting with upgrades, modifications, and modernization projects.
• Analyzing recurring faults and reporting points for improvement.
• Working according to applicable safety, quality, and port regulations.

You will work with modern technologies such as electric drives, sensors, PLC controls, and advanced diagnostic systems.
