What we're looking for

Mbo-3 or mbo-4 work and thinking level in a technical field
Experience as a maintenance technician, service technician, auto mechanic, or machine mechanic
Interest in large technical installations and port equipment
Driver's license B
Good command of the Dutch language
VCA Basic or willingness to obtain it

The role

Maasvlakte Rotterdam | Salary up to € 4,200 gross per month + 30% shift allowance

Work on the technology behind the largest container cranes in the Netherlands

At the RWG Terminal on the Maasvlakte, thousands of containers are processed daily. Hanging beneath these advanced cranes are spreaders, the systems that grip, move, and unload containers. As a Spreader Maintenance Technician, you ensure that these installations remain safe, reliable, and available.

You will work on a combination of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical engineering, and control technology. In doing so, you play an important role in one of the most modern and automated terminals in Europe.

What you'll do

Inspecting, dismantling, and assembling spreaders
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
Locating and resolving malfunctions
Administratively processing and registering performed activities.
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the availability of the equipment
