First-Class Gas Technician - Zuid-Holland

As a First-Class Gas Technician at Stedin, you ensure that the gas network remains safe and reliable for both private customers and business clients. Through maintenance, replacement, and adjustments to the network, you contribute to a safe energy supply. You ensure that the gas network is ready for today and tomorrow, and you intervene when necessary.

If you work within the Maintenance chain, you focus on keeping the gas network safe and maintained. You prevent faults and resolve them when they occur. When working an on-call and fault service shift, you go out—also in the evenings, at night, or on weekends—to help customers quickly and safely.

Within the Business Project chain, you work on the installation, modification, or replacement of gas pipes and connections for companies and organizations. This can involve new construction, expansions, or larger replacement projects in neighborhoods or on industrial estates. Additionally, within Business Project, you also work an on-call and fault service shift to restore service to customers as quickly as possible.

Depending on your education, experience, and preference, you will work on low pressure and/or medium pressure and within maintenance or business projects.

A day as a first-class gas technician:

• The workday starts from one of our locations in Zuid-Holland.

• Together with colleagues, a safe and proper execution of the work is ensured.

• Within the team, the planning and safety agreements are reviewed.

• Performing maintenance, resolving faults, and working on gas projects are part of the daily activities.

• Customer contact is central, whereby it is clearly explained which activities are being carried out.

All financial employment conditions at a glance, so you know what to expect:

• A salary of up to € 4,302 gross per month based on a 40-hour work week.

• A personal budget of 24% on top of your salary (including holiday allowance), to be used for extra salary or leave.

• € 80 net field allowance per month.

• An on-call and fault service allowance of € 446.39 gross per full on-call week, on top of overtime (to be paid out or converted into leave).

Furthermore, you have:

• An MBO education level 3 or 4 in gas technology or similar.

• A VP G-LD certification (or the willingness to obtain it).

• Driving license B and willingness to work on-call and fault service shifts.
