Account Manager Infusion Pharma

You are responsible for initiating, negotiating, and managing strategic contracts with hospital and outpatient pharmacies, as well as managing existing relationships with physicians. You will leverage your established network within the pharmaceutical sector or medical wholesale to set up strategic partnerships for VitalAire's infusion services. This role is crucial for securing the contractual foundation for innovative infusion therapies at home and creating value through patient care.

You are part of a dedicated, growth-oriented team. Your primary responsibility is setting up the essential contractual and commercial partnerships—particularly with hospital and outpatient pharmacies and other healthcare providers—needed to successfully launch and scale this program. This position is crucial for securing contracts for VitalAire's services, leveraging your network to enable seamless, innovative infusion care at home outside of the traditional hospital environment.

• Building and maintaining key strategic partnerships with prescribers, hospital and outpatient pharmacies, and other critical stakeholders, such as procurement officers.

• Negotiating and finalizing contracts and partnership agreements with pharmacies for the delivery of VitalAire's innovative infusion care at home and supporting technology.

• Leveraging your existing professional network within the pharmaceutical sector or medical wholesale to initiate new strategic contracts and partnerships.

• Managing the full contracting process, from initial negotiations to final execution and the ongoing evaluation of contracts.

• Leading the innovative transition of infusion technology and care from the hospital environment directly to the patient's home setting.

• Developing strategic alliances with key healthcare providers and organizations to ensure the successful adoption of VitalAire's services.

• Actively engaging and onboarding essential personnel at partner organizations, such as hospital pharmacists and team managers, to ensure effective service delivery and contract compliance.

• Driving the innovative provision and acceptance of infusion care and technology within the patient's home environment.

• At least a completed bachelor's degree (HBO level) in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a relevant commercial or medical field.

• Demonstrable experience as a Contract Manager or in a highly relevant role in the field of contracting.

• Work experience at a medical wholesaler or pharmaceutical company is a requirement.

• Experience with contracting with pharmacies (hospital and outpatient) is a strong plus.

• Expertise in infusion care, the home healthcare delivery model, and Patient Support Programs (PSP) is highly desirable.

• An established professional network within hospital pharmacies is a requirement.

• Exceptional commercial insight and a very proactive, persistent approach to generating new contracts and finalizing complex partnership agreements.

• Strong skills in negotiating, influencing, and building relationships at all levels within hospital and home care organizations.

• Excellent command of the Dutch language is a must

• Knowledge of various infusion therapies.

• Experience with Patient Support Programmes.
