As a Safety & Health Specialist, you work at the intersection of safety, quality, environment, and health. You play a crucial role in improving and securing our processes, both on the shop floor and in administrative handling. You ensure that we comply with laws and regulations, standards, certification requirements, and internal standards.

This is what you will do:

• Carrying out risk assessments (RI&E) and translating these into practical improvement actions.

• Advising managers and colleagues about working safely and healthily.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring policies in the field of safety, health, and environment.

• Conducting safety inspections and audits.

• Organizing training sessions and awareness campaigns to strengthen the safety culture.

• Analyzing incidents and near misses and driving structural improvements.

• Further professionalizing the BHV (Emergency Response) organization.

• Compliance: Ensuring that our processes comply with regulations and (international) certifications.

• Sustainability and well-being: You contribute to initiatives in the field of environment and animal welfare.

You work closely with various teams, including production, QC, and sales, and report to the QESH Manager.
