Westfort Retail is growing rapidly within the retail segment, and that means more customers, stricter requirements, more audits, more portals, and more specifications. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced QA Specialist Retail for our location in Oudewater. Do you have experience, do you understand food retail, and are you looking for a new challenge? As a QA Specialist Retail, you are responsible for quality and food safety within our retail activities and act as a substantive sparring partner for customers and internal departments. Specifically, you will be involved in:

• Managing, filling in, and keeping retail customer portals up to date;

• Drafting, managing, and updating product specifications for raw materials, end products, packaging, allergens, and nutritional values;

• Working with and ensuring food safety and chain certifications such as BRC, Beter Leven, SKAL (BIO), and other retail and customer-specific schemes;

• Answering retail questionnaires and customer questions regarding quality systems, food safety, sustainability, and chain assurance.

In addition, you will also perform regular QA activities such as:

• Maintaining and applying the quality system

• Preparing, guiding, and following up on customer and certification audits and internal audits

• Assessing and following up on QA deviations

• Supporting complaint handling

• Contributing to improvements within QA processes

This concerns a challenging and substantively strong QA role within a growing retail company. Communication lines are short and we have a pragmatic way of working. Additionally, you will work together with an experienced QESH team.

You have an affinity for quality and would like to deepen your knowledge in it. You are ambitious, eager to learn, and possess strong communication skills. Additionally:

• Have you completed a University degree in the direction of Animal Sciences, Food Quality, Food Technology, or an equivalent field of study;

• You have an affinity with automation;

• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.
