Business Controller

• Salary €60,000 - €80,000 (including holiday allowance).

• Full-time contract of 38 hours.

As a Business Controller at Walibi Holland, you will be part of the Management Team and interact extensively with the finance team responsible for the administration. You report to the General Manager and the Controller Benelux. In this role, you are the sparring partner for the management team in the Netherlands and have contact with international stakeholders at the group level, from the Compagnie des Alpes group.

Your focus lies on further growing and future-proofing Walibi Holland and Walibi Village. You achieve this through sharp analyses and insights that you know how to convey convincingly. Additionally, you are also responsible for the purchasing and IT team, with whom you also conduct performance reviews.

• You provide financial analyses and scenarios that give the management and management team insight into the feasibility, cash flow impact, risks, and compliance of strategic plans.

• You prepare and establish budgets, monitor forecasts, and advise on adjustments where necessary.

• You analyze actual results, budget variances, and financial trends, and provide management and the board with current and reliable performance insights.

• You identify opportunities for improvement, cost optimizations, and business risks, make improvement proposals, and support the implementation of measures.

• You collect, analyze, and report business results periodically and ad hoc, in accordance with internal formats and legal regulations, so that the organization can make timely adjustments.

• You work together with various departments to achieve the set financial goals and to monitor the achievement of targets.

You supervise and advise on purchasing activities and IT management where this has an impact on the financial objectives.

Walibi Holland is, of course, known for its theme park with the famous roller coasters UNTAMED and Goliath and other spectacular attractions. Additionally, Walibi has even more to offer, such as Halloween Fright Nights, Walibi Play, and other events. In addition to the theme park, an event site is also operated, where Defqon.1 and Lowlands take place every year, among others. Located next to the theme park is Walibi Village. Here, guests can stay overnight in comfortable holiday cottages and make use of a cozy lounge and, among other things, a swimming pool.
