Finance manager & Business Controller

You ensure that the figures are correct and that we know what they mean.

You will become part of our finance team and work closely with our financial controller. Together, you will ensure a strong financial foundation. Additionally, you will help the organization to increasingly better steer based on information, return, and growth.

Additionally, you will help the organization to increasingly better steer based on information, return, and growth. You will spend approximately half of your time on operational finance activities and the other half on business control.

Business Control

· Analyzing results, margins, and project returns

· Preparing and improving management reports

· Supporting budgets and forecasts

· Identifying opportunities, risks, and deviations

· Substantiating investment and business cases

· Translating figures into concrete actions for the MT and management

· Developing KPI dashboards and management information

Finance

· Processing and checking financial data

· Contributing to monthly closings

· Supporting accounts receivable and accounts payable management

· Monitoring cash flow and working capital

· Improving and automating financial processes

You are analytical, independent, and entrepreneurial. You get energy from creating structure and insight and enjoy translating financial issues into concrete actions.

You are not only concerned with what happened yesterday, but primarily look ahead. You see opportunities for improvement, take responsibility, and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to make things better.

•      HBO or WO degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Economics, or a similar field.

•      Experience in a broad financial role, preferably within a growing organization.

•      Experience with financial closings, reporting, budgets, and forecasting.

•      Experience with business control, cash flow, and working capital.

•      Analytically strong and able to translate financial information into clear insights.

•      Experience with process improvement, automation, and/or financial systems is a strong plus.

•      Good communication skills and the ability to act as a sparring partner to management and the board.
