Work Preparer in the Netherlands

• A gross monthly salary (based on 40 hours) of € 3,200 to € 4,500 - based on your background and experience

Looking for an entry-level position within civil engineering? Or do you already have some experience in civil engineering projects and would like to grow? We would like to offer you the opportunity to develop as a site planner within the East region (Northern Netherlands) as part of projects such as the monumental Stroink Pumping Station and RWZI Enschede. Will you help build the water quality, water safety, and accessibility of your region?

As a site planner, you are responsible for the preparation and supervision of civil engineering works, both in the tender, construction team, and execution phases. You are responsible for the work preparation for the realization of the projects, making use of various BIM possibilities. With this, you ensure the timely availability of work plans, materials, equipment, goods, and services. This allows you to manage deviations from the schedule and advise the project manager. Furthermore, monitoring costs is also part of your task package; you identify and register changes.

Additionally, you support the project manager with the project documentation, the handover, and the final reporting of the project. You work closely in a team consisting of design, project management, and execution. Additionally, you have contact with subcontractors and the client. Depending on the scope of the project, you divide the work with fellow site planners.

Naturally, your direct colleagues will teach you the intricacies of the profession. But because we are a large company, you have colleagues to learn from not only within your team, but nationally as well! The work preparation professional group meets regularly to share knowledge with one another.
