The role

To expand our team, we are looking for an experienced mechanical work preparer. As a mechanical work preparer, you are the connecting factor between design, planning, and execution. You ensure that projects run efficiently and simultaneously get the chance to further develop yourself and grow with the organization.

What you'll do

As a work preparer, you translate technical designs into executable work plans and organize material procurement, planning, and the deployment of technicians and subcontractors;
You maintain close contact with colleagues in the office and on the construction site and monitor planning, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction;
You act as the connecting link between the project team, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients;
As you grow in this role, your responsibilities will expand towards (partial) project management, with a view to a leadership position.

What you bring

A completed MBO or HBO education in mechanical engineering, installation technology, or a similar field;
Experience within (installation) technology or with work preparation and/or project coordination; experience with project management is a plus for a work preparer;
Technical insight combined with strong organizational skills and a good sense of planning and priorities;
Good communication skills, a team-oriented attitude, and the ability to connect people, both in the office and on location;
A proactive attitude, sense of responsibility, and the willingness to take initiative when necessary.
