As a site manager, you will work in a part of our operational area, depending on your place of residence.

You are responsible for the successful execution of the project assigned to you within the established schedule and budget. The projects you deal with can vary from small-scale projects to projects up to € 2 million, sometimes even € 5 million. Think of new construction tasks, reconstructions, sewerage, urban works, or major maintenance for municipalities and provinces. It may sometimes be that you handle multiple projects at once. Daily, you work with your colleagues, partners, subcontractors, and the surrounding environment to ensure smooth execution.

You do this by organizing people, equipment, and materials as effectively and efficiently as possible. You supervise safety and the correct execution of work, and you get the maximum out of your team by motivating and coaching them. Additionally, you maintain the relationship with employees of the client and other project stakeholders. In this position, you work closely with the project manager, to whom you also provide (financial) accountability. To be able to carry this out well, it is important that you are administratively strong and financially savvy.

As a site manager, we offer you:

• A position for 32 to 40 hours per week;

• A full-time salary of up to € 5,500 gross paid out every 4 weeks in 13 periods;

As a site manager, you are able to maintain a good overview, you are cost-conscious, and you adjust where necessary. You also know what is going on with your colleagues, you are involved, and you offer a listening ear when needed. Additionally, you have good communication skills that you enjoy using to keep your network of clients warm and to expand it. Furthermore:

• You possess at least an MBO education in Civil Engineering;

• You preferably have some work experience in road construction and a similar position, but do not hesitate to apply if you are looking for a job after completing your studies;

• You understand the calculations of your colleagues;

• You have knowledge of various contract forms and working methods, such as RAW and Design & Construct.

KWS Infra Zwolle-Leek location realizes small and large infrastructure projects from design to execution and maintenance in the provinces of Friesland, Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel, Flevoland, and in the northern part of the province of Gelderland. Independently as a location or together with other parts within KWS or VolkerWessels. The types of projects are diverse, such as road construction, hydraulic engineering, earthmoving, contributing to the construction of data centers and wind farms, or maintenance of infrastructure objects.
