Project Developer

As a project developer, you are the person who successfully brings projects from initiative to execution. With the goal of being able to look back with pride on projects that enrich the environment, offer a pleasant living environment for residents, and deliver a good return.

You are responsible for the acquisition and initiation of new projects. In doing so, you are strongly connected to the acquisition, development, and realization of the project. You make this conclusive in a profitable business case and are responsible for the full further development to ensure that the projects are actually realized. You maintain warm relationships and actively seek out collaboration partners. To make a good assessment of the feasibility of projects, you are well-versed both technically and commercially. Additionally, you coordinate the design of the development, monitor the quality, project planning, and the budget, and participate in the construction team. As a project developer, you make the difference by taking a responsible stance and making each project your own with a commercial and customer-oriented attitude. These can be new construction and transformation projects developed at your own risk and expense, as well as projects brought to development and realization on behalf of an investor, corporation, municipality, developer, or healthcare institution. You share knowledge with colleagues, seek collaboration easily, are independent, innovative, and can plan well.

• You possess HBO+ (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level and have at least 3 years of relevant experience in residential development;

• Your communication skills, both oral and written, are excellent;

• You are sharp, take initiative, see opportunities, show courage, and you want to continue to develop yourself;

• You have a (warm) relationship network;

• You have financial insight and are well-versed in construction technology;

• You have knowledge of legal aspects and the formation of contracts for partnerships.

Aannemersbedrijf Van Agtmaal works as a developing builder as part of VolkerWessels in South-West Netherlands on a large diversity of (residential) projects. Within our dynamic working environment of approximately 110 own employees, the lines are short and the level of ambition is high. The development team is currently formed by 6 people and you report directly to the management. An informal atmosphere with skilled colleagues who work together in a team and celebrate successes.
