The role

Are you the project leader with extensive experience in civil projects? At VSF, we are looking for an experienced project leader for various medium to large (Zuidasdoktunnel and Vught Verdiept) foundation projects in Central and Southern Netherlands. These focus on infrastructure and underground construction, in which we use various techniques such as jet grouting, injection, diaphragm walls, and combi-walls. Will you help build the next challenge in the field of mobility and urban construction?

What you'll do

Together with the team you manage, you ensure an effective and efficient way of working within the project organization. In doing so, you ensure that people, resources, time, money, quality, and of course safety come together. You communicate pleasantly and constructively within your team and with partners, clients, and management. You do this in both the tender and realization phases, in which the construction team and UAV-GC as the contract form are most common.

Furthermore, you report monthly on the progress of the project and, where necessary, you adjust so that the design and realization of your project proceed well and the set objectives are achieved. Additionally, you are continuously looking for improvements, spreading our SSB (Lean) philosophy (Samen Slimmer Bouwen / Building Smarter Together) and implementing these in your project and within our organization. You do not hesitate to delve into and understand the technical content where necessary to solve complex technical challenges with the team.

You know what a good balance between managing and coaching your team is;
You spread our WAVE safety values and thus create a safe working environment in all aspects;
At least 8 years of relevant work experience and a minimum of 4 years of experience in managing and leading civil projects, preferably within foundation techniques;
A completed higher professional (HBO) or university (WO) education, preferably with a civil engineering background.
