Construction Cost Estimator

At Ufkes Apeldoorn, we are looking for a Cost Estimator. In this role, you are primarily responsible for calculating the cost price of our construction projects. You actively participate in thinking about costs at the front end and make an active contribution to the project team.

As a Cost Estimator, you are responsible for creating construction cost estimates based on a preliminary/final design and you identify deviations or ambiguities in the application documents.

Additionally, you check the final contract documents against the budget data in collaboration with your project team.

And furthermore:

• Preparing estimates, element budgets, and work budgets;

• Retrieving information from Solibri regarding quantities and materials and, based on this, calculating the cost price of a project and delivering an accurate budget;

• Accurately documenting information regarding actual costs, key figures, and materials;

• Providing requested and unsolicited advice regarding cost efficiency;

• Responsible for version and document management regarding the calculation documents and recording the correct contract documents.

You are a driven personality, easy to approach, and a true self-starter. You are critical, make sharp cost price calculations, and know how to discuss these in a convincing manner with your stakeholders. You are able to create a good cost price structure and think along about smart solutions and potential risks

to make them transparent.
