The role

At Gebr. Van Kessel, we are looking for a Junior Contract Manager.
Behind every successful infra project lie hundreds of agreements, contracts, and interests. As a Junior Contract Manager, you will learn how to make a difference in all of that.
You will become part of an experienced team that will guide you in the profession. From the first tender to the completion of a project, you will discover how contract management works in practice. You will learn to recognize risks, analyze contracts, and support project teams with various contractual issues.
No years of experience required, but ambition to develop yourself is. You will be given the space to learn, take responsibility, and grow step by step into an independent contract manager within one of the most beautiful infra companies in the Netherlands.

What you'll do

As a Junior Contract Manager, you will contribute to challenging infra projects from day one. You will support experienced contract managers during tenders, project preparations, and the execution phase. This is how you will learn how contracts are applied, which risks play a role, and how contract management contributes to successful projects.

You support the analysis of contracts and tender documents;
You help in identifying and recording contractual risks and changes;
You support project teams with contractual issues and documentation;
You work together with tender teams, project leaders, contract managers, and corporate lawyers;
You develop yourself step by step into an independent contract manager.

Your qualities

You are curious, accurate, and eager to understand how large projects are contractually organized. You dare to ask questions, take initiative, and gain energy from collaborating.

HBO or WO working and thinking level, preferably in a legal, technical, or business administration direction;
Affinity with the construction or infra industry;
Interest in contract forms such as UAV, RAW, and UAV-GC;
A proactive, eager-to-learn, and communicatively strong attitude;
Driver's license B.
