Are you an experienced estimator with structural insight and a sharp eye for detail? Do you want to use your expertise to prepare technically substantiated quotes that make a difference for our clients?

At De Groot Vroomshoop, we are looking for an estimator in the glued wood department!

And glued wood constructions are beautiful and complex. Plenty of challenges, then!

Are you ready for that? Then read on quickly...

At glued wood, we work on challenging projects. You have the clean task of looking at whether everything is feasible in terms of costs and thinking creatively about how we can make it as good as possible.

"We have a lot of influence on the preliminary phase of every project. Our work as an Estimator is most enjoyable because every inquiry is different, due to the diversity of projects. You are always working technically down to the last detail and do everything to make it interesting for both parties."

Based on the project documents provided by the customer - such as drawings and specifications - you map out all necessary components and materials. But you look further than just the request: you think along technically and propose a smarter or better-fitting alternative where necessary. In this way, you translate every customer issue into a sustainable and technically well-thought-out solution.

• You analyze the project that is in the design phase;

• You calculate the cost price based on material and labor costs;

• You maintain contact with customers and suppliers to coordinate information and possibilities;

• You work closely with the sales department and the drafting room to coordinate all necessary information and details;

• You create a complete quote including a clear description of the offered components.

As an Estimator, you have an active and responsible role within every project. You work accurately and ensure that the quote is correct down to the last detail. You think along with colleagues and customers, and you handle matters proactively. Good cooperation and coordination are a matter of course for you.

• A completed MBO/HBO degree in civil engineering or a similar education.

We consciously build towards your future; therefore, we not only provide a good salary and pleasant working conditions, but we also invest in your growth and job satisfaction. Additionally, you can count on:

• • A good salary paid every 4 weeks;
