The role

Are you someone who manages budgets smartly and knows how to make the most of every euro? Then the role of estimator at Dura Vermeer Heyma in Rotterdam is made for you! We offer challenging renovation and/or transformation projects in both residential and civil engineering works. With your analytical insights and eye for detail, you will work together with your team on innovative solutions for the increasingly complex transformation and renovation tasks in the South Holland region. Do you dare to take on this challenge?

What you'll do

As an estimator at Dura Vermeer Heyma, you will receive the freedom and responsibility to financially manage projects from the initiation phase through to the construction agreement. You will work closely with colleagues such as the project manager, design leader, and the business office to accurately determine and adjust costs. During tender phases, you will perform risk analyses and prepare indicative budget estimates and tender budgets. Additionally, you will actively contribute ideas for smart, efficient, and innovative solutions that fit within the budget and optimally serve the client.

Whether it concerns complex renovation or transformation projects in residential and civil engineering, you see an opportunity in every challenge. You will communicate regularly with clients, visit construction sites, and contribute to the ambition to build more sustainably, digitally, and innovatively. Furthermore, you will be part of the estimation department, a close-knit team in which men and women work together on continuous development and improvement—both professionally and personally.

This is where you belong

At Dura Vermeer Heyma, we give old buildings and homes a new life. We transform monumental offices into residences, make neighborhoods energy-neutral, and densify cities with our innovative rooftop concept Blokje Op. We have a down-to-earth and driven team with colleagues who are there for one another. What makes us special is that we ensure the atmosphere among us is pleasant. This is truly Dura Vermeer Heyma - we can work well together, both during and after work. Whether it is hard work and hard laughter, a social drink, or a game of padel, the team spirit is always present. Read more about Dura Vermeer Heyma.
