The role

Van Agtmaal is looking for a Estimator with a keen eye for construction costs

What you'll do

From the very first strokes of the pen, as an estimator within the team, you are responsible for determining the cost price to creating a detailed tender and work budget. You request quotes and prepare price comparisons. Thinking along regarding alternatives and optimizations and translating the program of requirements also belongs to your task. Furthermore, you analyze construction methods and cost implications, generate key figures, keep the master budget up to date, prepare risk analyses, and monitor them. In short: you ensure, down to the last detail, the fundamental building blocks to realize extraordinary buildings successfully and within the agreed schedule.

What you bring

We expect that, as a basis, you will bring the following to this role:

· You possess a higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking through your education (Civil Engineering/Built Environment) and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

· You possess up-to-date knowledge of market and price developments.

· You dare to ask critical questions and receive feedback.

· You have an affinity with BIM, Solibri, and are aware of new developments in the field of automation.

· Naturally, you analyze and monitor opportunities and risks.
