What we're looking for

You have experience as an Estimator, Tender Assistant, Technical Specialist, or Contract Assistant/Coordinator of multi-year maintenance areas;
You possess a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in the direction of (Technical) Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, GWW (Earthworks, Waterworks, and Civil Engineering), or Construction;
You work accurately, you are good with numbers, and good at making connections;
Excel holds no secrets for you; knowledge of ERP is a plus;
You are strong enough in your shoes to ask critical questions;
You like to think along about opportunities and risks and the associated control measures;
You like to work independently on your projects, but do not forget the team interest in the process.

What you'll do

As Tender Management Coordinator/Estimator, you collect diverse information and data for maintenance tenders. You analyze the provided maintenance concepts and check them for content. Where necessary, you ask critical questions about the content to arrive at the best information together. After that, you ensure this information is translated into clear financial overviews. Once all data is transparent, you share this information with the Tender team and the potentially involved operational maintenance areas.

The role

You collect the information for preparing the bid budgets, including required capacity for personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontracting;
You process the quotes into the budget;
You analyze figures and translate them into reports for the tender team;
You devise creative solutions to arrive at a distinctive bid;
Like a Sherlock Holmes, you are busy collecting and analyzing the data you need when preparing the bid budget;
Together with your team, you build a bridge between the different disciplines, consisting of, among others, executing departments, contract management, and engineering.
