What we're looking for

You are pursuing a higher professional (HBO) or university (WO) education in the direction of Human Resources Management, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or another related field of study.
You are available from February 1, 2027, for a working internship of at least 35 hours per week and for a period of at least 20 weeks.
You are eager to learn and you have the enthusiasm to truly make an impact.
You are linguistically proficient in a way that allows you to describe difficult subjects clearly and simply.

The role

You will start an internship within the HR team responsible for compensation and benefits. This team develops, implements, and manages policies regarding topics such as compensation, vitality, mobility, and social security. When policies change, we ensure that the corresponding processes continue to run smoothly and we support HR colleagues and managers with advice and explanations. During your internship, you will collaborate on various projects in the field of compensation and benefits and will also take on your own responsibilities within them. You will contribute ideas on current themes such as allowances, supplements, mobility, and vitality, and with your fresh perspective, you will contribute ideas for the further development of HEMA's employment conditions. Additionally, you will help make information accessible to employees via HeyHEMA, our internal employee platform. You will also support the preparation of new projects by collecting existing information, performing analyses, and thinking along about next steps. This way, you will gain a good understanding of both the policy-oriented and the practical sides of HR.
