Procurement Working Internship

This is what you will receive from KPN:

• An internship allowance of EUR 600,- (based on 40 hours).

KPN has a Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) with 10 professionals. Here you can develop your skills and contribute to innovation. We work hybrid: Monday and Wednesday in Rotterdam, the rest of the week at home or in the office.

Within the CoE, you will improve the procurement function by optimizing processes, promoting sustainability, and supporting digitalization. Data, IT, and AI play a major role. During your internship, you will work together with colleagues and suppliers, which offers you a broad network and insight into Procurement within a leading telecommunications company.

During your working internship, you will get to work together with the CoE team members. You will brainstorm how we can further optimize processes. You will participate in various Procurement processes, data analysis, and monitoring activities. To do this, you will analyze the current situation and provide advice on standardization and digitalization.

These are some of the activities you will undertake:

• You help with the innovation of the Procurement function at KPN, including the use of AI.
• You support the drafting of policies and the optimization of processes.
• You process data and create instructions and video learnings.
• You support our buyers and contract managers in monitoring Third Party Risk Management activities. Where necessary, you will contact business stakeholders and suppliers.
• You analyze supplier data in our systems, for example regarding correct contract information, and initiate actions where necessary.

• You are following a HBO or WO study, supply chain, economics, or business administration
• You have an affinity for process improvement and digitalization
• You have an interest in modern IT and AI applications
• You are curious, independent, and have strong communication skills
• You have experience and interest in working with data
• You master the Dutch language in speech and writing.
• You are available to start as of February 2027
