Purchasing Internship

You will assist in the purchasing for a special product: stock building for ships within IHC. An opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic environment where technology and commerce meet!

• How logistical flows function within an international organization.
• Stakeholder management: collaborating with internal and external parties.
• Working both independently and in a team.
• Creating, confirming, and following up on purchase orders.
• Chasing deliveries and troubleshooting.

• Reading between the lines and picking up on signals.
• Working accurately and in a structured manner.
• Getting stakeholders moving.
• Safeguarding the interests of the organization.

• Observing contract and price negotiations.
• Visits to production sites and suppliers.

• You are a 3rd-year HBO student in the field of: Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Purchasing, Mechanical Engineering (or similar).

• A gross internship allowance of €450.- per month based on a full-time work week.
• Travel allowance (public transport or mileage allowance).
