The role

Do you love variety and want to use your talent at different locations and with different target groups?

As a Youth Care Worker in Pactum's Flexpool, you not only have the choice of where you work, but you also broaden your experience within various forms of youth care. Are you flexible, do you stand firm in your shoes, and do you get energy from challenges, or are you rather exploring what suits you? Then the Flexpool is for you.

As a flexpool employee, you can be deployed at all our locations in Apeldoorn, Arnhem, Deventer, Harderwijk, Neede, Nijmegen, Okkenbroek, Vaassen, Veenendaal, Zetten, and Zutphen.

What you'll do

As a Youth Care Worker within the Flexpool, you constantly step into new situations. That is precisely where your strength lies. You know how to quickly connect with young people, colleagues, and the working methods of a location. Whether you work a single shift or support a team for a longer period, your presence makes an immediate difference.

You provide young people with the guidance, peace, and structure they need and contribute to a safe living environment. In doing so, you may encounter diverse requests for help and complex situations. You are flexible, act professionally in crisis situations, and know when to connect, set boundaries, or take decisive action. For one young person, you are a listening ear; for another, a clear mentor or a stable factor. Thanks to your broad employability, you make a valuable contribution to both the development of young people and the continuity of our teams.

Your team, your place
Working in the Flexpool means working at different locations and with diverse target groups. You can be deployed within, among others, open treatment groups, room training centers (KTC), family houses, phase houses, and day treatments.

No two work weeks have to be the same. It is precisely that variety that makes the work challenging and educational. You get the chance to get acquainted with different methodologies, teams, and target groups, allowing you to continue developing yourself as a professional.

Within the Flexpool, we look together at what suits you. Do you prefer working with a specific target group, or do you want to gain as many different experiences as possible? Together with your manager, you will discuss your wishes, talents, and ambitions. We take these into account as much as possible. Additionally, your schedule is known six weeks in advance, so that flexibility and clarity go hand in hand.

Your role, your challenge

  • You guide young people individually and in groups within various forms of care.

  • You contribute to a safe, structured, and educational living environment.

  • You stimulate young people in their development and independence.

  • You respond adequately in complex and unexpected situations.

  • You collaborate with colleagues and other involved professionals regarding the young person.

  • You step in wherever your efforts are most needed.

Requirements

You are a flexible, eager-to-learn, and decisive professional who gets energy from variety. You are not easily discouraged and continue to invest in contact, even when young people show resistance. Additionally, you look critically at your own actions and dare to share new insights with colleagues based on your experiences. Precisely because you work at different locations and with diverse target groups, you take valuable knowledge and experiences with you.

In addition, you bring:

  • A relevant completed MBO-4 education (Youth Care Worker D) or a relevant completed HBO education (Youth Care Worker C) with a valid SKJ registration.

  • Availability for irregular shifts, including sleep shifts.

  • Relevant experience in youth care.

  • Own transportation, so that you can reach locations during the various shifts.
