The role

This is your chance to be at the very foundation of the start-up of a new production line for aerospace modules. As Team Leader, you will work on co-shaping the various processes, working methods, and the build-up of your team. You will guide the prototype and zero-series production and identify problems. In collaboration with production engineering, QA, and supply chain engineers, you will resolve any start-up issues. Once the line is operational, you will also take over the daily management of activities. Your tasks include:

• Translating product and process information into a practically functioning line;
• Thinking along with NPI engineers regarding layout, tooling, and workstation design;
• Drawing up work instructions, standards, and quality assurance in collaboration with the NPI/production engineering department;
• Providing support in recruiting and training employees.

After the start-up phase, the emphasis of your role shifts to the following tasks:

• Achieving objectives in the areas of safety, quality, delivery reliability, and productivity;
• Continuously improving processes and working methods;
• Developing and coaching employees.

You are a decisive person and a practical leader, and you get energy from building something new. You are organizationally strong and you have a true hands-on mentality.
