Production Team Leader (all genders) in the Netherlands

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level;
• You possess at least a completed technical education at MBO level 4, preferably you possess a completed HBO education or are willing to obtain one;
• We expect that you have at least 2 years of leadership experience in a production environment;
• Knowledge of Office programs and ERP systems, preferably SAP;
• You have an absolute affinity with production, technology and, above all, people;
• You are willing to work in 5-shift rotations;
• Experience within the food industry is a plus;
• Experience with improvement methodologies (such as 5S) is a plus.

In this challenging role, safety, quality and continuity come first! You lead and coach your own production team (approximately 10 colleagues) and are responsible for the continuity of production during your shift. Outside of office hours, you are responsible site-wide. You manage a fairly varied group of professional and driven operators within a friendly and close-knit environment. As a Team Leader, you have many varied activities:

• You coach your employees to optimally realize the production processes;
• You are the connecting link between, on the one hand, the Production Manager and, on the other hand, the supporting departments such as Maintenance, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Logistics and process technology support;
• You work with structured communication and shift handover systematics;
• You oversee the enforcement of all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental requirements and act adequately to incidents;
• You have an attitude of continuous improvement, which you also project to your team;
• In this regard, you identify improvements that you collectively address within the validated process or that you introduce into the continuous improvement systematics;
• You deal with all personnel matters of your team members (think of absenteeism discussions, performance reviews, personnel planning, time tracking, etc.) and are actively involved in the development of your employees;
• You participate in site-wide projects.
