You have solid initial experience as a supervisor in a production environment and know what it takes to lead a team.
You are a natural coach who can motivate people, but also dares to address them when necessary. "Do what you say and say what you do" is your motto.
You are resilient, positive, and steadfast. You can handle resistance and see change as an opportunity.
You are solution-oriented and pragmatic.
You speak fluent Dutch and have a good knowledge of English to manage your diverse team.

The role

As a Team Leader, you are the indispensable link between the department head and the shop floor. Your goal is not merely to distribute the work, but to create a culture of ownership, efficiency, and pride. You are the one who puts the new way of working into practice daily, coaches your people, and raises the bar for quality and productivity. You ensure that problems are identified quickly and that your team meets the set production targets every day with the right focus.

What you'll do

You directly manage several assistant team leaders and indirectly manage your own team of production workers. You are their first point of contact on the floor.
You are the engine of daily operations: you organize the work, follow up on the planning, and ensure that production targets (takt) are met.
You are responsible for safety, quality, and order & cleanliness within your zone. You ensure that work instructions and procedures are followed correctly.
You dare to address your team members, coach them, and provide feedback (both positive and on areas for improvement) to help them grow.
You manage staffing levels and ensure an efficient deployment of your people, even across team boundaries.
You escalate technical, quality, or planning problems quickly and correctly to the department head or the appropriate support service.
