Requirements
What we're looking for
- A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar technical field
- You are a strong team player and possess good communication skills
- You are persistent in achieving the optimal result and are not easily discouraged
- You possess strong analytical skills: you work systematically, distinguish between main and secondary issues, and make a clear distinction between facts, causes, and consequences
- You can read and interpret technical drawings
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages; knowledge of the German language is a plus
- You have knowledge of or experience with LEAN / Six Sigma
Nice to have
- Interest in production and machining technologies such as milling, turning, and surface treatments

The role
What will you do?
Our teams work on diverse products and projects, ranging from proto- and pilot phases to full series production. You ensure that suppliers meet our technical and quality standards from the beginning through to volume production.
What you'll do
In this role, you are responsible for the quality of supplies and the continuous improvement of supplier performance. Your activities include:
- Setting up, discussing, analyzing, and handling non-conformance reports (8Ds)
- Reviewing and discussing First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
- Analyzing and managing measurement data
- Performing visual product assessments
- (Co-)drafting deviation documentation
- Managing compliance registrations (REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals)
- Providing input for performance and progress reviews with internal teams
- Drafting structured internal improvement plans
- Executing improvement processes with suppliers
- Discussing manufacturability and technical feasibility of products with suppliers
You work closely with colleagues from various disciplines and are an important interlocutor for both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
