What we're looking for

You have a completed HBO or WO degree, for example in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or a similar field.
You possess at least 8 years of experience within product management, program management, or digital transformation.
You have experience with ERP transformations, preferably within SAP environments.
You have knowledge of one or more domains such as Finance, HR, Procurement, or Sustainability.
You are strong in stakeholder management and know how to successfully bring different interests together.
You have experience with developing roadmaps, prioritization, and demand management.
You are familiar with change processes and organizational development within complex organizations.
You possess excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic and result-oriented approach.

The role

Within Digital IT, you are responsible for the digital development of the HR, Finance, Procurement, and Sustainability domains. You determine the course of a strategic portfolio and work together with stakeholders at various levels on innovative solutions that prepare VDL for the future.

As Product Manager Group Functions, you are responsible for the vision, strategy, and roadmap of digitalization for the HR, Finance, Procurement, and Sustainability domains. You operate at the intersection of business and IT and ensure that digitalization initiatives contribute to the strategic objectives of VDL.

You are the driving force behind complex transformation programs and know how to bring diverse interests within the organization together. Through your strong stakeholder management, you create support, steer priorities, and ensure that digitalization projects actually deliver value to the business.

In addition, you play an important role in the further professionalization of the domain. You work on the design of governance, processes, teams, and working methods and are an important sparring partner for the board, management, and other stakeholders.

Examples of projects you will work on include the further implementation of SAP S/4HANA, the replacement of Visma Raet by AFAS, the digitalization of financial processes, the further development of the procurement landscape, and solutions surrounding ESG reporting and sustainability.
