Factory Engineer Spare, Repair & Service

The role

As a Factory Engineer in the Systems 1 - Spare, Repair & Service department, you will improve and manage your production processes for spare and repair parts of the most advanced high-tech systems used worldwide by our largest customer in the semiconductor industry.

You are responsible for the setup, support, and continuous improvement of the assembly process for complex mechatronic products. You are the technical point of contact for production, participate in project teams, and act as a sparring partner for the customer to achieve the best solution. You work in a dynamic high-tech department where quality, efficiency, and process control are central.

• Setting up, supporting, and continuously improving assembly processes and documentation with a focus on quality, efficiency, and process control.
• Acting as a sparring partner for production, engineering, suppliers, and the customer.
• Initiating, executing, and securing technical improvement plans.
• Drafting and managing assembly steps and process flows.
• Monitoring product quality and lead time, and ensuring an optimal production setup.
• Implementing new processes and techniques for quality improvement.

• HBO or WO MSc. in (Technical) Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, IPO, or similar.
• Strong interest in applying technical knowledge in an operational production environment.
• Pragmatic, hands-on, analytically strong, communicative, and accurate.
• You take initiative, show ownership, and enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
• Experience in a complex technical environment is a plus, but not a must.
