Logistics and Production Business Analyst

The role

You translate the challenges of manufacturing companies into smart digital solutions and see your ideas actually implemented on the shop floor. From production planning and logistics to procurement and finance: you help more than 40 VDL companies optimize their processes and prepare them for the future.

• You work at the intersection of business, IT, and production.
• You have a visible impact within dozens of manufacturing companies.
• You work on an in-house ERP solution that is continuously being further developed.
• You communicate directly with users, management, and developers.
• You are given a lot of freedom to critically analyze and improve processes.
• You contribute to the digitalization of one of the largest industrial family businesses in the Netherlands.

• As a Business Analyst, you are the connecting factor between the needs of the business and the technical solution. You dive into business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and work together with colleagues to ensure a successful implementation.
• Your responsibilities include, among other things:
• Analyzing and digitalizing processes within production, logistics, planning, procurement, and finance.
• Translating user needs into concrete ERP solutions.
• Sparring with ERP developers to realize optimal functionalities.
• Guiding implementations at various VDL companies.
• Advising stakeholders at operational, tactical, and strategic levels.
• Supporting users and creating support for changes.

You enjoy understanding complex processes and bringing people along in change. You are curious, analytical, and dare to ask critical questions.

• HBO or WO level of professional and intellectual ability.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ERP Consultant, or similar role.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and business processes within production environments.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.
• Good communication skills and persuasiveness.
• Affinity with Agile working.
• Driving license B.
• Experience within the manufacturing industry or certifications in the field of Business Analysis are a plus.

• Salary indication €3,800 and €5,500 gross per month based on full-time and depending on knowledge and experience.
