• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience within non-life insurance underwriting.

As a Senior Business Analyst Underwriting, you combine your subject matter expertise with the power of strategy, technology, data, and AI. You work together with insurers, product owners, consultants, architects, and development teams on solutions that truly improve the underwriting profession.

You don't need to be a traditional business analyst or IT specialist. It is precisely your practical experience that makes the difference. You know how risks are assessed, where underwriting processes get stuck, and what underwriters need to make good decisions.

Insurers face the challenge of designing underwriting processes that are faster, more efficient, and future-proof. At the same time, maintaining a good balance between commercial interests, customer interests, and risk remains essential.

In this role, you work on diverse assignments at insurers and operate at the intersection of business, processes, and IT. You use your experience as an underwriter to understand complex issues and translate them into concrete solutions.

• Analyzing and improving underwriting processes, from quote to policy.

• Identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.

• Translating underwriting policy, practical experience, and user needs into concrete requirements and solutions.

• Thinking along about the design of future-proof underwriting processes.

• Investigating which parts of the underwriting process can be automated or supported.

• Facilitating workshops and inspiration sessions at insurers.
