The role

Your energy in the plus

As a business analyst, you analyze data from PowerBI and are in close contact with your fellow business analysts and colleagues from across the organization to implement improvements together within the entire Supply Chain. In this way, you make a direct impact on the energy transition.

Why working at Stedin gives you energy:

  • Continuously making an impact, because you are at the forefront of the energy transition.
  • A lot of freedom. In your work, and through hybrid working and flexible working hours.
  • An attractive salary and, on top of that, a personal budget of 24% and a Sustainable Employability Budget of 700 euros per year.

Work to be proud of

Adapting and expanding the grid is a challenge that we, as the Supply Chain department, contribute to every day. We ensure the procurement, storage, and timely delivery of the right materials and the right services. In a moving market, it is essential to move along and improve!

You are a business analyst who finds the future of the energy grid important and interesting. Figures? That is what gets you out of bed, especially if you can work with PowerBI. In this role, you are in close contact with your fellow business analysts and colleagues from across the organization to implement improvements together within the entire Supply Chain.

A day as a business analyst Supply Chain

  • You start your day with a fresh coffee or tea from the barista in our work café. During the weekly start at the office, you discuss the most important priorities with colleagues, after which you immediately get to work analyzing the latest data and translating insights into concrete opportunities for improvement.
  • Together with colleagues from Vendor Management, Logistics, Planning, and Services, you ensure that strategic, tactical, and operational objectives become measurable. You contribute ideas on how data can help make performance visible and allow for adjustments where necessary.
  • Throughout the day, you dive into analyses, identify trends and developments within the Supply Chain, and translate these into clear advice. With clear reports and dashboards, you support management in making well-founded decisions.
  • After a lunch with a view over Rotterdam, or a walk through the city, you work on further improving the department's control. You develop dashboards, optimize systems, and ensure that important steering information is accessible and understandable for everyone in the chain.
  • At the end of the day, you see the direct result of your work: thanks to your insights, colleagues, managers, and chain partners have access to up-to-date information to continuously improve processes. And before you know it, you are already standing at Blaak station from our office in the heart of Rotterdam, heading home.

Here is how you recharge

All financial employment conditions at a glance, so you know exactly what to expect:

  • A gross monthly salary between € 4548.05 and € 6331.70 (based on 40 hours), 24.5 vacation days, and pension accrual with ABP, where we pay 70% of the premium.
  • On top of your salary, you receive a personal budget of 24% (including 8% holiday allowance). You choose what to do with the budget: for example, extra salary or (up to max. 35.5) extra vacation days. You can see how it works in our calculation tool.
  • An annual € 700,- (gross) Sustainable Employability budget to spend on your own energy, for example, for your sports membership or sports clothing.

On top of that, there is this:

  • Modern home working facilities and a home working allowance of € 2.40 per day. At Stedin, we work 50% from home and 50% in the office.
  • You travel to the office using the public transport free-access scheme. This is a public transport card that you can also use in your free time. Or with the flexible travel scheme, where you choose, combine, and vary how you travel to work and receive an extra allowance if you come by bicycle.
  • Your development is central: attending events with colleagues and following training and education. This is how you get the best out of yourself.

With these qualities, you will grow here

You feel at home in a small, specialist team, but know how to share your insights and advice effortlessly with the rest of the organization. Thanks to your sharp analytical eye, you quickly grasp complex processes and enjoy seeking out collaboration. You easily approach colleagues to understand how processes work in practice and translate that knowledge into valuable analyses and improvement initiatives.

In addition, you enjoy working independently, take ownership of your work, and get energy from realizing concrete improvements for the business. You know how to distinguish well between main and secondary matters, allowing you to set priorities effectively. Moreover, you switch effortlessly between strategic issues and the details needed to arrive at the right insights and solutions.

Furthermore, you have:

  • a HBO diploma and at least two years of work experience in similar roles.
  • knowledge and experience with reporting tools such as Power BI and you are creative in devising solutions.
  • experience and affinity with processing and interpreting data, and with analyzing and/or improving business processes.

If you do not possess an HBO diploma but do have an HBO level of work and thought, as well as demonstrable solid experience with Power BI, then we invite you to apply anyway.

Take the step to your next challenge

We look forward to meeting you.
