Workshop Planner in the Netherlands

What are you going to do?
In our brand-new head office located along the A59 in Waalwijk, more than 10,000 cars arrive annually, which go from our workshop to our dealer locations to be sold to the customer or go directly to the new driver. These cars come from ex-lease customers and must undergo APK+ inspections by the 16 mechanics. As workshop planner, you are responsible for the efficient planning and organization of the activities in our workshop. You work closely with the team of mechanics, the workshop manager, and colleagues from other locations to ensure that all cars are ready for delivery on time. You are responsible for optimal planning of the workshop activities, taking into account available capacity, deadlines, and priorities. Additionally, you communicate with internal customers regarding the planning and expected lead times. All in all, a dynamic role with plenty of variety! Your duties consist of, among other things:

• Coordinating activities between different departments and ensuring a smooth flow of vehicles;

• Communication with colleagues regarding technical matters;

• Registering performed work and maintaining relevant administration.

Of course, it is a bonus when you have experience in a car company workshop, but if you have experience as a production planner, we certainly invite you to apply as well. The most important thing for us is that you, like no other, know how to make good plans, can look ahead, and do not quickly lose the overview. Additionally, you are communicatively skilled and enjoy helping your colleagues. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry;

• Good communication and listening skills;

• Available full-time.
