Medior / Senior Java Developer

• You have at least a higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking and 2 to 5 years of experience developing web applications in Java;

• You are certified in Java 11 or higher, or you are willing to become certified;

• You have experience developing REST APIs and are proficient in integrating APIs from external parties;

• Experience with Docker and an understanding of containerization.

• Proficiency in deployments and a solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tooling.

• Experience developing from a CMS or DXP, such as Bloomreach, is a plus;

• Because all our clients are Dutch, proficiency in the Dutch language is also a requirement;

• Developing web applications and platforms using Spring/Spring Boot.

• Working on projects that use the Bloomreach CMS.

• Collaborating with a dedicated Java discipline team for R&D purposes.

• Keeping your knowledge up to date within your field, and ensuring innovation within the Java team.

• Advising the product owner on the desired solution during refinements.

• Providing feedback on the software created during the review process.

Together with your Scrum team, you are responsible for everything from architecture to implementation. You will work together with front-end developers, designers, DevOps, and of course your fellow developers to realize high-quality solutions for your clients together. • We would appreciate it if you live within a radius of 50-60 km of our office in Groningen.

• A salary between € 4,000 and € 5,300 (based on 40 hours), depending on skills, knowledge, and experience;
