Do you want to work as a Senior Business Service Designer on services that add value for people and organizations? Then we would love to meet you.

The role

theFactor.e is a Human First Digital Agency where people and technology come together. We shape technology that works for people and thus strengthens business. At theFactor.e, we believe that the best digital experiences arise based on insights. Not through assumptions, but through data, experiments, and continuous optimization.

That is why we are looking for a Business Service Designer. Someone who, based on user needs and organizational goals, develops a coherent, actionable, and valuable service that adds value for both users and clients..

You will work for leading organizations in sectors including government, education, financial services, and business services. Together with strategists, UX researchers, experience designers, developers, and AI specialists, you will ensure that digital customer experiences become increasingly smart and deliver more value.

What you'll do

As a Senior Business Service Designer, you help organizations make their services more human-centered, smarter, and more actionable. You connect user needs, organizational goals, and brand ambitions and provide direction to the design and change process.

You are both a strategic thinker and a practical doer. You bring structure to complex issues, dare to propose choices, and bring various stakeholders along in a shared direction. In doing so, you constantly safeguard the coherence between the user experience and what is required within the organization to achieve it.

You enjoy working closely with specialists in the fields of research, strategy, creation, content, and technology. You also contribute to the further development of our Human First positioning, value-driven service delivery, and standards.

You:

  • researching user needs, organizational goals, business, and brand;

  • translating insights into a vision for service delivery and a concrete service concept;

  • facilitating workshops, interviews, and co-creation sessions;

  • developing concepts into customer journeys, service blueprints, and other service design tools;

  • translating the desired service delivery into roles, processes, responsibilities, and systems;

  • mapping opportunities, bottlenecks, and dependencies;

  • drafting roadmaps and implementation plans;

  • advising and guiding clients in the execution of changes;

  • testing concepts with end users and employees;

  • making it clear what changes deliver for the user experience and organizational results;

  • contributing to the development of our services, methods, and standards.

You are analytically strong, inquisitive, and communicatively skilled. You switch easily between strategy and execution, bring structure to complex issues, and know how to bring users, stakeholders, and colleagues along. In doing so, you combine a human-centered perspective with entrepreneurship and a pragmatic approach.
