PCB Production Engineer

Location: Hengelo, Netherlands

As a Production Engineer, you are primarily responsible for converting product documentation provided by the customer into production information used to produce the product within the ICCG-PCB. This involves both CAM activities and the engineering of the product itself. Various tasks are scheduled on a weekly basis on a scrum board, and progress is monitored daily.

The main tasks and responsibilities are:

• Establishing preconditions (e.g., batch size, process choice, etc.), cost calculation for quotes, NRE costs, and cost price calculation (material costs, working hours, etc.)
• Assessment of design and design data regarding quality, manufacturability, and cost (design reviews)
• Generation and management of technical production documentation, production data (CAM), and tooling according to quality procedures, with optimization of cost, efficiency, and control.
• Performing E-BOM to M-BOM transformation in PLM application
• Further optimization of the Engineering ICT environment and introduction of Industry 4.0 on the shop floor
• Guidance and control of new products for both internal and external orders (NPI)
• Supporting role regarding product engineering activities

• A technical background at MBO or HBO level with an affinity for ICT aspects
• Ability to work accurately
• Experience with CAD/CAM is a plus.
• Communication and commitment towards internal and external customers
• Good communication with operators and colleagues
• Initiative regarding improvements
