Education & certifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field of study.

  • Affinity with compressor thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and rotating equipment.

  • Interest in cooling and heat pump technologies.

  • Experience with the development of compressors, internal combustion engines, or similar mechanical systems is considered a major plus.

  • Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German is a plus.

  • Experience with simulation tools, 3D design, FEM analysis, and CAD data management systems. Experience with Creo is a plus.

  • Creative and innovative in solving technical challenges.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The role

Are you the creative and innovative Product Development Engineer who wants to join our team to bring a new generation of industrial heat pumps and cooling compressors to the market? Do you want to help our customers become more sustainable with our energy-efficient and CO₂-free solutions?

For our historic factory in Den Bosch, we are looking for a Product Development Engineer.

What you'll do

As a Product Development Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of new compressors, units, systems, and components. You will translate innovative ideas into manufacturable and reliable products and contribute to improving performance, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. From concept development to implementation in production, you will be involved in the entire development process.

Your responsibilities

  • Developing, engineering, and implementing new products, components, and design improvements.

  • Performing simulations, technical analyses, and cost calculations to optimize performance and manufacturability.

  • Designing and elaborating sketches, diagrams, 3D models, and technical drawings for quotation, classification, and production purposes.

  • Drafting, coordinating, and analyzing test programs to validate and further improve designs.

  • Providing technical information for manuals, documentation, and product specifications.

  • Managing and maintaining design and product data within the PLM system.

  • Drafting, planning, and executing development projects, ensuring timely delivery and the achievement of project objectives.

  • Collaborating intensively with colleagues from Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and other disciplines to successfully bring innovative solutions to the market.
