Boskalis is known for leading projects, and as a senior production engineer, you will make an important contribution to our projects. A fine example of such a leading project is the land reclamation for Manila International Airport. Within this project, Boskalis was responsible for the reclamation of 1,700 hectares of land in Manila Bay in the Philippines for the construction of a new modern airport. As a senior production engineer, you are the one who calculates and analyzes how we can best deploy our dredging equipment so that production on the projects is optimal.

• Creating production budgets for dredging works during the tender phase.
• Coordinating the tender process in consultation with the business units.
• Guiding and training the junior production engineers.
• Advising on modifications to and new construction of dredging equipment.
• Actively monitoring the production process and working methodology on ongoing projects both in the Netherlands and abroad.
• Transferring knowledge from the tender phase to the project team and crew once a project goes into execution.
• Visiting projects and providing advice to optimize the dredging process of the dredging fleet.
• Recording and deepening dredging technical knowledge for the purpose of future tenders.
• Advising projects in the tender phase.

• Your team: You will join a team of 40 enthusiastic production and soil engineers. You report to the manager of the Dredging Department.
• Where you will work: In consultation with your manager, you can work partly from home and partly in the office. Travel to projects may occur, but always happens in close consultation.
• Full-time/ part-time: The position of senior production engineer is full-time (40 hours per week).
