What we're looking for
Completed HBO (Higher Professional Education) degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering & Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics
Relevant experience in a similar role within a technical or production environment
Knowledge of production processes, production methods, and control techniques (PC, PLC, data communication) is a plus
Experience with Power BI is a plus!
Strong communication skills in Dutch and English

Production Engineer - Fortes Energy Systems - location Lichtenvoorde
What you'll do
Are you the innovative force that optimizes our production process? The role
As a Production Engineer at Fortes Energy Systems, you are the linchpin in improving our production process of our delivery sets. Together with your fellow production engineer, you ensure that our 5 production lines, our self-developed test systems, and the technologies behind them not only run smoothly, but are also continuously improved!
With your technical knowledge and analytical eye, you know how to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, thereby lifting the efficiency and quality of our production to a higher level and improving quality and lead time. In doing so, you work in a data-driven manner, from analysis to optimization!
Analyzing, improving, and optimizing our production processes and resources so that we can guarantee a higher first time right.
Identifying and resolving disruptions and analyzing structural bottlenecks
Initiating and implementing process improvements; you determine and lead the improvement projects yourself
Ensuring reliable test systems, data storage, and registrations
Providing technical support so that units are built according to standard
Monitoring project progress and planning within the improvement projects, where you have a coordinating and advisory role towards internal departments and external stakeholders
