• A WO (Master's) degree in Engineering such as Biosystems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another similar field.

  • If you are a starter, you will have a gross starting salary between € 3,500.00 and  € 3,795.00. As you gain experience within our company, you can count on growing in salary in the coming years.

  • If you are already more experienced, your salary range is between € 3,900.00 and max € 5,600.00 based on 40 hours.

• You get 26 vacation days, and if that is not enough for your travel adventures, you can choose an additional 13 ADV days (both based on full-time).

• Naturally, we have 8% holiday allowance.

• Travel expenses of € 0.25 per kilometer with a maximum of 25 km one way.

As a Product Development Engineer, you will enter the high-tech world of mechanical engineering, climate technology, and automation, applied to the delicate biology of the birth of healthy chicks. You will work in the Product Engineering department, within which we have 8 (product) groups. This total team of over 20 people in NL is incredibly collegial, social, and ready to support one another. At the same time, they are very ambitious and set the bar high. The team works closely with our own Research department to develop new techniques and products or to improve existing ones. This is a full-time position.

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the entire engineering process for the 'Incubation' product group; with you on board, the team for this product group consists of 5 colleagues. In this role, you will perform the following activities:

• Theoretical research: You often start with theoretical research to properly understand the principles and take the interests of stakeholders into account.

• Concept engineering: Next, you will use your creative mind to design solution directions and test these as Proof-of-Principles.

• Prototyping: Afterward, you validate the designs in practice. Here, your analytical ability will be challenged to be super critical of the result in order to ultimately be able to tick the box.

• Securing acquired knowledge: Ultimately, you document the principles, theory, test results, designs, and manuals so that this knowledge is preserved.
