As a Production Engineer Fastening Technology, you are responsible for monitoring and further developing fastening technology within our production environment. Here, the focus lies primarily on bolt and nut connections. You contribute to the continuous improvement of product and process quality according to the principles of the PACCAR Production System and World Class Manufacturing.
In this role, you will learn a lot on the job and develop step by step into a specialist within the field. You will look critically at the quality of bolt and nut connections and use data to test whether everything falls within the standards. In doing so, you will work with capability reports to verify results, but also to map out deviations and malfunctions.
The position is a mix of office-based activities as well as testing, measuring, and implementing in the factory. You will work closely with other departments, such as quality service, technical service, IT, and production.
