Configuration Controller

Location: Hengelo, Netherlands

The Support Team plays an important role within the Sensor, Racks & Cabinets department regarding the production & delivery of new Radar Systems. Quality control, production planning, technical work preparation, asset management, production engineering, and logistical support are the key functions that together make the Support Team a success.

Your week as a Configuration Administrator is very varied. You have contact with various colleagues throughout the entire organization; you serve as a bridge function between different departments. Together with Configuration Managers & Manufacturing planners, you will consult on the implementation of the configuration and manage tasks that you subsequently execute in our systems and PLM tooling. As a specialist, you ensure that the configurations of products and for (often complex) projects are in order. Other typical activities are: creating overviews, implementing changes, and assisting colleagues such as manufacturing planners and production engineers.

It is also important to us that you have the space to follow training, both professionally and personally, and that working on improvements is encouraged.

• Managing and maintaining configuration baselines;
• Producing configuration overviews;
• Handling and managing approved changes in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems;
• Providing configuration document deliveries to internal customers and suppliers;
• Providing support to Configuration Managers (CM) for complex or large system delivery projects;
• Issuing repair and change orders;
• Working on multiple projects simultaneously, which can differ greatly in terms of complexity and uniformity of information (from prototype to serial production);
• Contributing to improvements.

• Has a completed MBO education (preferably a technical field of study), or operates at this level;
• knowledge of PLM processes or CM tools is a plus;
• has affinity with engineering disciplines (for example: hardware/ software/ system/ testing/ service engineering);
• You enjoy working in a structured manner and know how to involve others in doing so.
• masters the Dutch & English language, both orally and in writing.
