  • 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days;
  • 8% holiday allowance and variable profit sharing;

  • A company electric car;
  • Laptop and smartphone to perform your work optimally;
  • An open and professional working atmosphere and pleasant outings organized by our staff association.

Who we are looking for
By nature, you are communicatively strong, being able to listen even better than you talk. You want to understand what occupies a client and look beyond the question on the table. You see possibilities, bring in ideas, and know how to bring others along with you. In doing so, you think strategically, but always without losing sight of the relationship.

You are a true self-starter who likes to work independently and you feel comfortable in a role where freedom and responsibility go hand in hand. Additionally, you like to delve into the technology behind our solutions. You want to understand how something works and know how to translate that knowledge into a convincing story for your customers. Furthermore:

The role

“You don't need to know all our products when you join. However, we are looking for someone who is commercially strong and can master the technology. That combination makes you a good interlocutor for our customers.”

A bus that gets priority at the traffic light. An ambulance that can pass more quickly. For most people, it is just part of traffic. You know how much technology, choices, and conversations lie behind it. And how wonderful is it if you have contributed to that yourself? As a (senior) account manager infra and mobility at SWARCO, you work on solutions that you encounter again on the road. From an initial idea at the table with the client to technology that performs its work outdoors. Technology that keeps an entire city in motion. A good story, right?

As an account manager at SWARCO, within our Products, Systems & Solutions (PSS) business unit, you are the commercial point of contact for municipalities, provinces, and Rijkswaterstaat. You continue to build on an existing network and are already in conversation before a concrete request or tender is presented. You know what is happening with your clients, what plans they have, and where our products, systems, and solutions can add value.

Behind the mobility ambitions of a client lie choices regarding the design of the traffic infrastructure and the technology required for it. You think along, bring in ideas, and show what is possible. In doing so, you look at how our products, software, and services together form a solution that fits the customer's problem.

This requires a sense for the environment in which you work. A new administrative course can bring different priorities. You follow these developments and know how to translate them into commercial opportunities. You maintain your relationships, seek out new contacts, and ensure that SWARCO is at the table at the right moment. From that position, you further develop opportunities into concrete requests, offers, and assignments.

You can also lead the conversation on a substantive level. At a whiteboard, you take a client through the setup of a solution: how systems are connected to each other, where the software runs, and what can be managed locally or in the cloud. You do not have to work out every technical detail yourself. For specialist issues, you involve colleagues from the technical department. Together with sales, engineering, and project management, you work on proposals and tenders in which the customer's question, technical possibilities, and commercial agreements come together.

After securing an assignment, you remain involved with the client. You maintain contact, deepen the collaboration, follow developments, see where new commercial opportunities lie, and build relationships in which customers also approach SWARCO for their next challenge.

You are given a lot of freedom to develop your market. You determine which customers you visit, where you see opportunities, and how you organize your work week. No fixed office days or an agenda that is filled in for you. However, there are colleagues with whom you can consult, share knowledge, and work together on a proposal.
