What we're looking for

• You have demonstrable experience as a foreman or supervisory earthworker
• You have an MBO education in a technical field (GWW, infra, civil engineering, electrical engineering, or similar)
• You can work independently and make decisions on the construction site
• You communicate clearly and lead people in a pleasant manner
• You are flexibly deployable, including nights and weekends
• In possession of a B driving license

The role

Do you know how to lead a crew at work, maintain an overview of the execution, and always prioritize safety? Then this is your next step. At Strukton Rail, we are looking for an experienced Earthworks Foreman who can independently run projects within Cables and Pipelines.

What you'll do

As an experienced Earthworks Foreman, you are the first point of contact on the construction site. You lead your crew, monitor the planning, and ensure that the work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to agreement. You work closely with the site manager and project manager and play an important role in the success of our projects.

You will work on diverse cable and pipeline projects within the railway, ranging from smaller tasks to larger integral projects. You ensure everything is correct: from preparation to delivery.

• Leading and supervising a crew of earthworkers
• Preparing and organizing activities on location
• Distributing tasks and monitoring progress and quality
• Checking equipment, materials, and safety measures
• Performing and checking measurements
• Identifying deviations and coordinating with the site manager and project manager

You will be part of the Cables and Pipelines department of Strukton Rail. You will work together with other foremen, site managers, and project leaders on projects throughout the South of the Netherlands. The permanent base is Den Bosch, easily accessible from, among others, Breda, Eindhoven, Tilburg, Roosendaal. Variation in workplace and environment is a matter of course for us.
