Safety Officer

• At a minimum, MBO-level work and thinking ability;
• Knowledge of railway safety; 
• Workplace Safety Leader certificate at classification level 3;
• The willingness to work at night and on weekends;
• A flexible and eager-to-learn attitude;
• Good collaborative skills and a sense of responsibility;
• Finally, you are stress-resistant, and you can anticipate and delegate.

Do you want to play an important role in ensuring the safety of our employees on and around the tracks? Do you find it challenging and interesting to work on the various maintenance contracts/areas and projects of Strukton Rail throughout the Netherlands? Then we are looking for you!

As a Workplace Safety Leader (LWB 3 or 4) at Strukton Rail, you are responsible for your colleagues arriving home safely and for ensuring a safe working environment. In consultation with the site manager, you ensure that all activities proceed safely according to safety regulations. You lead the personnel performing safety tasks and you coordinate the safety organization. Additionally, you maintain contact with the train dispatcher and, after the completion of the activities, you evaluate the safety measures taken. 

Whichever project you are working on, day - night or on the weekend, you give your maximum effort. And you must, because the next day the trains must run according to the timetable again.
