Construction Manager

• HBO or WO education in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or similar.
• At least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience within civil engineering, structures, or concrete constructions.
• Experience with integrated contract forms such as UAV-GC and construction teams.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes (EC-2, EC-3, EC-7) and structural safety.
• Experience with project coordination and managing teams.
• Knowledge of design, execution, and management processes within infrastructure projects.
• Affinity with cost control and risk management.

As a Construction Manager, you are responsible for the technical and organizational management of civil construction projects, such as bridges, tunnels, viaducts, locks, and foundations. You form the link between the client, the design team, and the executing parties, and you manage quality, planning, risks, and budget.

• Coordinating and managing structural design processes.
• Monitoring planning, quality, budget, and risks.
• Advising clients on technical solutions and design choices.
• Leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Aligning with internal and external stakeholders.
• Testing designs against applicable standards, guidelines, and contract requirements.
• Guiding projects from the initiative and design phase through to execution.
• Identifying opportunities, risks, and optimizations within projects.
