Risk Manager

• HBO or WO (Higher Professional or Academic) level of work and thinking.

• An education in Civil Engineering, Technical Business Administration, Business Administration, or similar.

• Knowledge and experience with risk management within projects is a plus.

• Experience with RISMAN, probabilistic planning, and/or Monte Carlo analyses.

• Knowledge of project control within infrastructure or civil engineering projects.

• Experience with integrated contract forms such as UAV-GC is a plus.

• Strong communication and advisory skills. (Dutch speaking at a minimum C1 level is a hard requirement)

• A proactive, independent, and result-oriented way of working.

As a Risk Manager at Strukton Civiel Nederland, you play an important role in managing risks and exploiting opportunities within our civil engineering projects. As part of the Project Control team, you ensure that project teams have insight into uncertainties regarding planning, finance, technology, environment, and execution, so that projects are realized in a predictable and controlled manner.

From the tender phase through to realization, you are involved in diverse projects within the energy, water, and infrastructure domains. You organize and facilitate risk sessions, map out risks and opportunities according to the RISMAN methodology, and translate these into concrete management measures. In doing so, you work closely with project managers, tender managers, planners, cost engineers, and clients.

• Organizing and facilitating risk and opportunity sessions.

• Preparing and managing risk dossiers throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Analyzing risks in the areas of planning, costs, quality, safety, and environment.

• Performing probabilistic risk analyses and Monte Carlo simulations.

• Establishing risk reserves in collaboration with project teams.

• Developing and maintaining risk dashboards and management reports.

• Advising project teams, management, and clients on risk management.

• Monitoring control measures and identifying deviations.

• Contributing to tender strategies by making risks and opportunities transparent.

• Further professionalizing risk management within Strukton Civiel Nederland.
